Community outreach/direct conservation campaigns. Communication skills/wilderness advocacy/represent the organization in public. Pay is $35-$40K/year with health care and vacation, growth possible. The Yaak Valley Forest Council is a grassroots, cutting-edge wilderness advocacy group that also implements significant restoration projects on the Kootenai National Forest, while also supplying conservation education to students and other community development projects. We work in the million-acre Yaak Valley of northwestern Montana, the most biologically diverse valley in Montana, on the Canadian border. 40 hours/week, hours flexible, able to work from home most days.
