ECH Farm Manager: Full-time, 9-month position, benefited
Experience: This position requires excellent management and organizational skills, ability to manage a 5+ acre vegetable farm, work in partnership with other staff/faculty, and represent the ECH in local and agricultural communities. Experience in vegetable production management, and/or CSA, horticultural practices/production is necessary. Farm Manager must have sufficient management and organizational skills to plan production tasks, complete organic certification paperwork and practices, provide training and oversight to students and volunteers, sell products, represent the ECH at trade shows and conferences, and successfully grow and deliver quality vegetable products. Basic equipment maintenance and construction skills necessary.
Expected Start Date: February 1, 2017 or as soon as possible. Applications received until position is filled. First interviews scheduled for January 2017.
Salary: $20,000 to $23,250
