BIRMINGHAM AUDUBON SOCIETY
Birmingham Audubon is seeking an energetic Executive Director to oversee fulfillment of its mission promoting conservation and a greater knowledge of birds, their habitats, and the natural world.
The Executive Director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Birmingham Audubon Society including the supervision of a highly competent staff and coordination of its grant activities. The Executive Director also will implement Birmingham Audubon Society’s strategic plan, and be responsible for raising funds and obtaining grants to advance its mission.
Working with the President and Board of Directors, the Executive Director will actively engage and motivate staff, volunteers and community to publicize and carry out Birmingham Audubon Society’s activities.
The Executive Director also will work with the Board to prepare annual budgets and will oversee financial expenditures.

The successful candidate will have both significant experience and demonstrated skills in managing a non-profit organization
