The Sierra Club’s Beyond Dirty Fuels Campaign is hiring! We are looking for an experienced campaigner to lead our work challenging the oil and fracked gas industry, specifically focused on fighting fossil fuel expansion in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. Working with partners and allies around the country, we are building a movement to keep fossil fuels in the ground, combat climate change, and protect communities from the impacts of fossil fuels.

The Senior Campaign Representative will provide practiced leadership and strategic planning to challenge the rapidly expanding oil and gas pipeline infrastructure in the US and support the transition to clean energy, with a focus on the Permian Basin and Intermountain West. The Senior Campaign Representative will collaborate and coordinate the campaign’s activities with capacity units across the organization, including teams in Organizing, Legal, Federal Policy, Communications, and Digital strategies departments, as well as with the Sierra Club chapter volunteers and partner organizations to ensure strategic alignment of the campaign goals and effective execution of the campaign plan.

We are looking for motivated, strategic, experienced applicants who are excited to work with a dedicated team of staff and volunteers and with knowledge of the fossil fuel industry and its impacts on our air, water, climate, and communities. Experience working directly with people from diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds and the ability to speak Spanish are a plus.
